Club senior trip to Poland
In the early hours of the 29 August 5 brave club members rekindled the clubs traveling spirit with a trip to “Uks Sensie Plock” Judo Club in Plock, just outside Warsaw, Poland. With 4 sessions over the 3 day it wasn’t all judo the resort boasted pool, sauna and hot tab and our wonderful hosts laid on trip to a nearby forest, sailing and motor boat ride out on the largest river in Poland, the Wisla. We even got to see Annetta Szczepanskas Olympic silver medal from Atlanta 1996. Heading back to the UK on the 31 August after a trip around the old and new town, battered but not broken. I great trip to really welcoming hosts, our tanks go out to Ukas, Roman, Derota and all those that took part. We look forward to welcoming them to Croydon and returning to Poland in the future.
